I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Perfect in every way. Love the personal touches and the immaculate room with super comfy beds. Perfect location just minutes walk from the Oak Bluffs ferry terminal, in the middle of all the best activities. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I will always book at Madison Inn whenever I travel to the Island. Thank you all for a lovely experience.
We stayed for one night this week. The staff was wonderful and very welcoming and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The rooms were very clean and location was fantastic. Rooms very quiet and comfortable. We will definitely be back!
One of the best hotels in MV. Location is huge as it is steps away from the Oak Bluffs ferry and is in the heart of OB. Always has fresh water, snacks, and beach great. We come with a large family and rent out two rooms. I honestly will be staying here for the rest of my life. Can be pricey but you get what you pay for
Even before arriving at Martha's Vineyard, we received so much information about our trip, restaurant recommendations, and tips that made our planning easier. Our stay began with a warm welcome and lots of hospitality. The room was incredibly lovingly furnished, very cozy, and perfectly clean. Everything you need and even a basket with water and chips. The beds are a dream! Mary took a lot of time to give us tips for a perfect afternoon, including restaurant recommendations and transportation options. The next day, John also gave us lots of tips for our island road trip. We really felt that there was so much passion involved. There was also coffee and tea, which was wonderful. On the day of departure, we were even taken to the harbor, which we really appreciated and are incredibly grateful for. We would come back anytime, stay longer, and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Madison Inn & on Martha's Vineyard. Thank you!!!
Staff is very friendly and most helpful with recommendations. Inn location is easy to reach from the ferry and in the heart of downtown Oak Bluffs, allowing for frequent stopover during the day. Room is very comfortable and clean, with ample lighting and amenities. Added features include readily available beverages, fruit and snacks. The private courtyard is a relaxing and comfortable place to sit and rest. One of the best hotel experiences that we have had, both here in the US and in Europe.
We stayed at the Madison Inn for one night and our experience was wonderful from the moment we came in. John at the front desk was helpful, kind and friendly. We parked for free a short walk away by the water (it wasn’t a beach trip for us and the inn is perfectly located for anyone who wants easy access to the beach) The room was clean and the perfect size for two adults. The decor was simple and lovely (we loved the wall paper in the lobby) The coffee/tea bar was a great addition with multiple options and snacks. The location was great too! Close to restaurants, shops and the free shuttle to explore the island. John recommended we take a walk to see the gingerbread houses and we are so glad we did! It was a lovely way to walk off the delicious dinner we had the the Red Cat restaurant located one street over from the inn. We highly recommend staying at the Madison Inn!
My mom sister and I just stayed here for a short visit. It was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had, and we travel quite a bit. One of the cleanest hotels we’ve all ever stayed in. The icing on the cake were the hosts Mary and John. They were kind, helpful, professional and delightful to talk to. They helped with anything we needed. There were some lovely unexpected touches, like a coffee station in the morning with breakfast bars, fresh fruit and at 8am the put out a fresh baked goodie. There is a community fridge you can use, umbrellas you can borrow and even some complimentary snacks in our rooms. Highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Madison Inn! Perfect location-less than 5 minute walk from Ferry landing, grocery market, pubs, restaurants, the beach! Great coffee/tea/snack station! Very helpful and kind staff, exquisitely clean rooms...will stay again!
